One of the reasons I have been a bit quiet recently is because I have been really struggling to serve you all, and complete year 2 of DTLLS (New Cert Ed) with Wolverhampton University. I am pleased to announce that I have successfully completed the course, much to my surprise. I am attending a graduation ceremony and will have to wear one of those gowns and a mortar board, not bad for a Brummie with a CSE in woodwork!!
Here’s the thing – I had to observe teachers delivering to young adults in a college and guess what. I will never work in FE as long as I live. I like working with proper adults so bring it on, and I promise not to use any edu-babble unless absolutely necessary.
