REALLY IMPORTANT NEWS AND OUR OFFER
15 Jul 2010
So we noticed that a lot of people coming on Lantra Awards instructor/PTLLS courses also needed their NVQ Assessors unit - A1 for a variety of reasons. Some sectors require instructors to assess and hold the ticket, some people new in to training also wanted this qualifications to give them more earning flexibility, and a whole load of other reasons.
Hot off the press from City and Guilds the A1 Assessors unit is being re-written to come in to line with the new QCF qualifications. As there is a teach element in most, if not all, of the new qualifications assessors will now have to teach, which they never did in the past. I am told by our EV that PTLLS or an equivalent will become a mandatory unit of the new A1 and people currently holding A1 will need to bolt PTLLS on to keep their assessors qualification alive at some point in the near future. The new A1 should be published this year.
