Course description
This is our flag ship learning programme to achieve both awards for one great price. We have been delivering the Lantra Awards qualification for over five years and have qualified hundreds of instructors. There is the option to just gain the Lantra Awards qualification; it is the same programme without the paperwork or portfolio building. We have been delivering the PTLLS award since it was introduced in 2007 and we have enabled nearly 500 satisfied candidates to complete the award. From first contact you have our total support which will absolutely guarantee your success by the end of the programme. There is a little pre course work and reading, we supply everything you will need and as much guidance as you want, if required.
We then get together for the five day event in a picturesque rural location with plenty of free parking and lots of local accommodation. We use the latest interactive adult friendly learning techniques to explore the course content, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

We cannot overstate the importance of the PTLLS award. It is a legal requirement to hold it if you wish to teach your skill in further education, or if you may deliver government funded courses. It is mandatory for military instructors' and described by regulation as the recognised qualification for work based teachers or WBT for short (the new term for instructor and trainer) and those who teach in the voluntary sector and community based learning.
Over 1000 employers and organisations require their trainers to hold PTLLS including the whole of the security industry (SIA), plant and machinery instructors (CPCS), the construction industry, trainers in holistic or alternative therapies and lots more. We have seen recently that some local authorities have started demanding that any outside trainer they employ is PTLLS qualified.
Holding PTLLS gives total freedom to deliver all vocational training in any sector and gives qualification security in to the future
